Hoop Dreams provides inner city DC public high school students with academic
college scholarships and connects them to the regional business community
and a network of greater opportunities through a core program of college preparation
mentoring, internships, service-learning activities, SAT prep courses and
ongoing support once students are in college.
ADAPT
ADAPT is fighting so people with disabilities can live in the community with
real supports instead of being locked away in nursing homes and other institutions.
